BetRivers generated $67.5 million in Michigan online casino revenue in the third quarter of 2026, up 13.5% from a year earlier. Its share of the state’s online casino market slipped as statewide revenue grew faster.

Parent company Rush Street Interactive reported Oct. 28 that companywide revenue rose 39% to $385.9 million. Adjusted EBITDA increased 73% to $62.2 million, and net income nearly doubled to $28.7 million.

Online casino games accounted for three quarters of companywide revenue.

BetRivers holds fourth as Michigan’s market continues to grow

BetRivers Casino Michigan operates in partnership with the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians. BetRivers recorded $59.5 million in gross receipts in the same quarter last year, according to Michigan Gaming Control Board figures. Its share of statewide gross receipts edged down from 7.7% to 7.5% over the year.

The broader Michigan online casino market reached $906 million in gross receipts for the quarter, up 17.2%. FanDuel, BetMGM, and DraftKings finished ahead of BetRivers in each of the three months. Hard Rock Bet was the closest challenger over the full quarter at $61.2 million, about $6.3 million behind BetRivers.

BetRivers’ gross receipts rose slightly each month, from $22.4 million in July to $22.6 million in September. Its quarterly total still came in 4.3% below the $70.6 million it recorded from April through June.

After promotional deductions, BetRivers generated $64.8 million in adjusted gross receipts in the third quarter, up 15.9% from a year earlier. Statewide adjusted receipts grew 19.8% over the same period.

BetRivers’ Michigan sportsbook took in $20.4 million in bets, down about 2% from a year earlier. Gross sportsbook receipts rose 10.1% to $2.24 million. That figure measures what the sportsbook kept after paying winning bets, before promotional deductions.

Rush Street points to tougher competition in Michigan

CFO Kyle Sauers said on the earnings call that Rush Street gained online casino market share year over year across its markets, except in Michigan. Sauers cited stronger competition from newer operators. Hard Rock Bet launched in Michigan in December 2025, and bet365 entered the state in April.

Rush Street’s online casino revenue rose 32% companywide. Across its products, the company averaged a record 300,572 monthly active users in the US and Canada, up 34% from a year earlier. Its earnings release gives no separate player count for Michigan.

BetRivers adds new table games in Michigan

Michigan was among the first markets to get Bonus Spin Xtreme online through BetRivers. Game supplier AGS announced the launch in August under an exclusive agreement that runs through the end of 2026.

The rollout included five games, among them Blackjack Double Deck, America’s Blackjack, and War. Optional blackjack side bets can trigger a wheel spin for a chance at multiplied payouts. Players can also unlock a second wheel for a shot at one of two jackpots.

Rush Street is also developing games in-house. Sauers said games from outside suppliers still account for almost all of the company’s casino revenue. CEO Richard Schwartz said games made in-house could help the company offer a different lineup and improve margins. He said more would follow in the new year, with Michigan availability still unclear.
