Jackpot Digital Inc., a developer of dealer-less electronic poker gaming technology, has received a supplier gaming license from the Michigan Gaming Control Board, clearing the way for its Jackpot Blitz electronic table games to be used in commercial casinos across the state.

The approval represents a significant milestone in the company’s North American expansion strategy, expanding its footprint into one of the nation’s largest regulated gaming markets, which includes Michigan online casinos and online poker.

The license allows local operators to install and operate Jackpot Digital’s innovative electronic table games (ETGs), which are designed to blend the experience of live poker with the efficiency and speed of digital systems.

What license means for Michigan platforms

Jackpot Blitz ETGs let players engage in poker-style games without a live dealer. These systems aim to reduce labor costs for casinos while offering a high-quality experience with fast gameplay and enhanced security in a digital format.

According to Jackpot Digital President and CEO Jake Kalpakian, the licensing approval is a “key milestone” for the company’s growth and underscores Michigan’s appeal as a “strong and dynamic gaming market.”

He said the state offers an ideal platform to introduce advanced electronic table solutions to both operators and players seeking cutting-edge entertainment.

Initial installations of Jackpot Digital’s ETGs are planned for Detroit commercial casinos in the first quarter of 2026, signaling a phased rollout to follow in the months ahead.

Company’s broader regulatory footprint

Jackpot Digital is already licensed in a number of other US jurisdictions as well as international markets. Beyond Michigan, the company holds approvals in Maine, Mississippi, and the US Virgin Islands, among others. It also maintains gaming licenses for tribal casino operations in several states, including California, Louisiana, Minnesota, Montana, New York, and Oregon.

The expanded regulatory footprint underlines the accelerating acceptance of digital and dealer-less gaming products across diverse markets, especially as casinos look for new ways to drive revenue and improve operational efficiency.

Industry and player impact

For Michigan’s gaming patrons, the deployment of Jackpot Blitz ETGs introduces a new way to enjoy poker-style gaming without the wait or variability associated with live dealer tables. Players can expect a seamless session that mimics traditional play while leveraging digital convenience and accessibility.

The MGCB license also positions Jackpot Digital to compete in a market where demand for innovative, tech-driven experiences continues to rise, particularly in the state’s robust commercial casino sector.
